Media Neutrality

Media neutrality is best explained as text that is not influenced by the medium in which it is placed.

I believe that media can be both. If you are on Facebook, the message that is put out to the public is not 100% what you want to say. Many times, you post what is appropriate because you have family members or coworkers that view your page.

On the other end of the scale, Facebook should not influence my thoughts and opinions when it comes to my own writing. If I am writing fanfiction, it should not go on Facebook; depending on the type.

Media neutrality is a good thing. It helps the author categorize where the content should be published.
